Author: Liv

Authors Note: I started shipping them just now. Literally, five seconds ago.

Eric walked into the New York crime labs and stopped. He wasn’t lost, he was confused. He swore he just walked past that woman in the lobby, but there she was, picking up fallen files. Shaking his head, Eric walked forward and bent down to pick a few up, handing them to her. She woman looked up, her curly hair falling into her face as she gave him a bright smile.

"Thank you," she said, standing up and giving him a look over. She pointed at him after a second. "Miami?"

"Eric Delko," said Eric holding his hand out for her to shake. She laughed at him and took his hand.

"Yeah, good luck getting people to call you Eric here, Miami. Stella Bonasara."

"Nice to meet you."

"Horatio sent you at a good time, hopefully we can catch this guy soon and you can be home by Saturday."

Eric chuckled and shook his head, looking around the lab. It was mildly decorated with hearts and various other Valentine things.

"At least I’m working and not sitting at home watching chick flicks with my sister," mumbled Eric, giving Stella a grin. She grinned back.

"I know what you mean. This is the kind of holiday, CSI’s aren’t really allowed to have."

"I know what you mean," said Eric, Stella tossed him a grin and walked off down the hallway, leaving Eric staring after her with an interested sparkle in his eyes.

Title: Love Potion Number 8
Author: Liv
Pairing/Characters: Cynthia Wells/Ryan Wolfe
Rating: K
Disclaimer: I don’t own CSI:Miami.
Summary: N/A
Authors Note: Ryan’s adorable.

Ryan wasn’t jealous. It wasn’t like they were going out, it wasn’t like he really liked the girl, and it wasn’t like he was talking to himself about all the reasons why he wasn’t jealous- oh.

Okay, maybe he did like her. But just a little bit. But he wasn’t jealous, he just didn’t like Cooper. Besides, Cynthia was a pretty girl.

It didn’t help that Cynthia was out of her lab and was talking to Cooper and she was wearing something that left little to the imagination. She wasn’t supposed to be at work. In fact, neither was Ryan. They were both supposed to be out to dinner, together.

But Ryan wouldn’t call it a date. Nooo, defiantly not a date. He just asked her if she was doing anything, she wasn’t and
neither was he and she’d always taken an interest in him and they were just friends and now he was talking to himself and making even more excuses.

"Hey, Ryan," Ryan jumped as Cynthia walked up to him, startled as he quieted the slightly disturbing voice in his head and made a mental note to get checked out.

"Hey."

"I just talked to Calleigh, and the case is closed. If you still want to grab dinner-?"

"Yeah," said Ryan, nodding. "Yeah, I’d like that alot."

Title: Dinner and Disappointment
Author: Liv
Pairing/Characters: Sara Sidle/Mac Taylor
Rating: K
Disclaimer: I don’t own CSI:, nor CSI:NY.
Summary: N/A
Authors Note: Sara/Mac is like my crack ship. I really like her with him.

"You’re not doing anything tonight, are you?" Sara looked up as Mac walking into the break room. Sara looked around, seeing no one else in there but herself.

"No, why? Do I have to work?" Mac opened his mouth to say something, but Sara interrupted him. "I do, don’t I?"

"No, actually. I was wondering if you would like to have dinner with me."

Sara’s mouth dropped open. Never in her wildest dreams did she imagine Mac making a move like that. If it was Grissom,
she probably would have fainted. But it wasn’t Grissom, it was Mac. Mac was asking her to dinner and she was staring at him like he was a blowfish and he didn’t look fazed by her lack of an answer yet.

"I’d love to," said Sara quickly. Mac nodded.

"Great. You can go home now if you want. I’ll pick you up at around seven."

"Yeah. That sounds...great."

Mac nodded and walked out of the break room, leaving Sara sitting there, staring at the place where he’d been like she just won the lottery.

"I have a date with Mac Taylor," she said to herself. She shook her head in wonderment and replayed the conversation over and over in her head.

Title: The Meaning Of Valentine’s Day
Author: Liv
Pairing/Characters: Don Flack/Jennifer Angell
Rating: K
Disclaimer: I don’t own CSI:NY.
Summary: N/A
Authors Note: It’s short, but it’s cute. And they both make valid points.

"Hey, Jennifer. I was thinking, what if you didn’t work tonight," Jennifer looked over at Don as he started walking next to her.
He looked nervous, so Jennifer decided to push his buttons.

"Why would I do that?"

"So you could go out to dinner with me," Jennifer was surprise. She stopped in her tracks and turned to look at Don, giving him a quizzed look.

"Are you serious? You want to go out with me? On Valentine’s-"

"What’s the big deal about that holiday? It’s not like I’m asking you to marry me or anything, I just want to have dinner with you."

"Okay."

"Really? I thought it would take more persuasion than that."

"Well, it’s like you said. It’s just dinner, and you probably would have asked me any other day of the year, why not on a day that’s Hallmark-ally the most romantic, over rated day of the year? I’ll see you after shift, Flack," said Jennifer, walking away and leaving Don standing in the hallway looking flabbergasted.

Title: The Circumference Of A Square Or, How To Totally Not Be Subtle
Author: Liv
Pairing/Characters: Don Eppes/Sofia Curtis
Rating: K
Disclaimer: I don’t own CSI, nor Numb3rs
Summary: N/A
Authors Note:

Don was staring at Sofia, blatantly as she and Charlie talked about work. He was being obvious, and he knew that, but still. Who could blame him? It wasn’t like he was staring on purpose, she wore her hair differently, it was shocking and in need of examination, ergo the creepy, stalkerish staring. Don sighed and looked away finally. That explanation was ridiculous.

Don looked at his calender and realized with a groan that it was, in fact, Valentine’s Day. Worse day of the year in his opinion, right after Halloween and ‘bring your child to work’ day. Don turned his head back to look at Sofia, who was now talking to Colby. A twinge of jealously tugged at Don’s heart as he fought off the urge to do something that would surely embarrass him.

Charlie walked up behind Don, frowning curiously and following his gaze onto Sofia. He shook his head in annoyance and clapped Don on the shoulder, starling him.

"You know, she can’t read you’re mind."

"What?" asked Don, giving his brother a weird look.

"She can’t agree to go out with you if you don’t ask."

"I’m not interested."

"And you can find the circumference of a square," Don frowned. "Circumference is for circles-"

"I know, you dork."

"Ask the woman out," said Charlie, walking away from Don. Don shook his head and looked back over at Sofia, who looked his wave. She smiled and gave him a small wave, to which he returned, making up his mind.

Don stood up and walked over to Sofia, placing his hand on her upper arm and leaning in to whisper in her ear.
