Happily bleating away in the footsteps of rangerishot and having just enjoyed The Day of the Doctor 50th Anniversary special (twice!) plus An Adventure in Space and Time, a surprisingly good drama on the early days of Doctor Who with David Bradley (Argus Filch, Walder Frey in GOT plus many, many excellent roles) as William Hartnell, how could I not do this ( Read more... )

Well if I was going to pick the first female Doctor you'd have to be near the top of the list me 'ansum.

Yes, I'm dotty enough to cope with the inconsistencies and chaos of time travel I think. Coping and even thriving with being dropped in the deep end seems to be the life lesson I have to learn this time 'round and I find I'm pretty good at it after all of the practice.

I think the motto for my life this time is "No-one expects the Spanish Inquisition!"

Two complaints.........
No maths as a favourite school subject. Psssssssh! What an omission.
And no tea strong enough to tarnish spoons.
I am the 8th Doctor.

You're a true romantic, a real believer in the power of people and their collective abilities.

You may have seen some unpleasant things in your time, had to deal with traumatic events, but you've never let them soil the purity of your faith in the basic goodness of humans, and this is written across your face.

It's a hugely attractive feature, and this can sometimes lead you into trouble. but people generally feel better for having spent some time in your presence.

I thought it was strange there was no maths listed either, so I went with physics, which I did enjoy.

For tea, I'm like you too, but settled for Earl Grey as I'd just had a cup.

My very favourite is a nice, strong brew of Assam Orange Pekoe and my everyday fave is an Aussie brand called Billy Tea, which is a nice strong brew, and preferably in a proper pot - not a fan of tea bags, I must admit.

Struggled between Physics and Biology, plumped for Biology.
I like a brand of Yorkshire tea, even though I'm a Lancastrian, red rose house. It can put hairs on the palms of yer 'ands.

I went for Technology instead. Didn't opt for straight up Physics because it didn't seem right whereas technology was probably a bit more appropriate. Did not realise 'Munchester' was in Lancashire. I never did study geography tho.
