About Lucius' Tattoo... and some new New DH pics

That tattoo on Lucius' neck in DH 1... I've just seen one of Bellatrix that shows one on her neck, too - but on the opposite side.
I'm sure it wasn't there in HBP...

A bit of a mystery...

At first, I thought it was perhaps his prison number from Azkaban, but it's not the same as the one shown on the slate from OOtP when you see him getting his prison ( Read more... )

WIN! Azkaban tattoos, but I am sure they are fake. WB has been inconsitent with costumes and makeup, so there you have it.

Given JK Rowling's parallelling of the HP goings-on with the Nazi idealisms, it kind of seems up their alley that those tats are the runes from their Azkaban days. If we are talking about them possibly not being them due to inconsistencies, well, lets just say that the uniforms were changed from COS to POA, then onwards, not to mention Hogwarts in general (and Hagrid's hut), so, I can only see it being Azkaban runes.

Yeah, they'll be from Azkaban and ... yeah ... inconsistent but who gives a shit - there are more important things in life to worry about.

Quite like them though. I am finding men with tats disturbingly attractive these days. (Not that the tats are disturbing, just that I am attracted in a disturbingly immediate way)
