But the question is did you eat the beef stuff? I seriously love living in this part of the world. I can't imagine ever living anywhere else...well, unless someone buys me a beach villa in Mexico.

I LOVE your picture. You are so darned cute!

We're... not entirely clear if we had the beef stuff or not. (eep!) I think probably not, but maybe some got slipped into a dish or two.

And, um,. Thanks. I am notoriously goofy in pictures (self-portraits and otherwise), this one was a bit of an anomaly.

Coconut!

Awww...that's a cute name for a kitty. also means i've definitely been away from LJ for a long time since the last time I've been here before was the kitty was still unnamed. hehe!

your description of Xena is so funny! OMG! her color is just like the carpet. Duston was asking me to guess why you named the cat Xena. And I answer, is it because of "Xena the Warrior Princess"?

Oh Junebug..I hope Junebug gets better.

btw..who's older Junebug or Xena? I was just asking Duston and he said he was never sure about that.

Yup. Xena is named after the warrior princess (even though she is a complete wuss).

Junebug is fine. We never did figure out what caused the swelling.

Xena is older than Junebug by as much as a month. We think. She was a stray so we're not entirely sure how old she is.

The Coconut looks to me like she may have a bit of Maine Coon in her, because she looks pretty darn big and those ears are so crazily tufty. The beasties are all so cute!

We suspect the same thing! If this is the case... she might end up ginormous.

Another clue: she doesn't seem to mind water all that much. It's not her favorite thing, but it also isn't much of a deterrent. I had her absolutely soaking wet before she let go of the window screen last night.

"scarred" = "character". At least, that's what I tell myself when surveying my furniture (which is chock full o' character).
