You view things very differently when you are in the process of auditioning for the TV show that you are watching. Oh I do hope you make it on, it would be really nice to see someone less mainstream. there's nothing I hate more than when the judges say, oh, you are so great at commercial design. BAH on commercial design, I want something eccentric, beautiful, thought provoking, and well made. You have all of that, I was quite impressed with your collection at Dragon Con last year, I do look forward to seeing your collection again this year.

Thanks so much! We've got our fingers crossed over here. I'm sending the application and portfolio out Tuesday or Wednesday. So then I'll just have to wait for a phone call.

I'm including a pretty good mix of work, since i do steampunk styled pieces as well as more modern formal wear and such. So I think that will help keep me off the chopping block since they tend to stay away from designers that are too off the mainstream. I'm by no means mainstream but I would say i do like to make my pieces wearable.
