You were meant to paste the code into (for example) Word and once you've changed the URL tags and the usernames, you were meant to copy the full code, paste it underneath and change the LASTN to FRIENDS for the repeated version - until you do that, your friends page won't change :) It's up to you of course!

Well, currently in the overrides, the URLs have been set to *http:// www.yourhost.com/imagename.jpg* (but without the stars or space). This doesn't actually exist, as 'www.yourhost.com' is just an example. So you have to upload the images I've provided (to say, photobucket) and change these URLs in the overrides so that they are now the URL of your uploaded images. I've kept the 'imagename' bit constant...so in the overrides, you'll see that the URL for the background reads ...yourhost.com/stitch_bg.jpg, so this is the URL you change to point to your background image.
It's cos you don't have a website specified in your userinfo! Go to edit userinfo and where it says 'your website' put in livejournal.com or even your own LJ if you wish. Once you've done that then all will show :)

I've kept the 'imagename' bit constant...so in the overrides, you'll see that the URL for the background reads ...yourhost.com/stitch_bg.jpg, so this is the URL you change to point to your background image.
