Shoulder is feeling much better so catch up in the journal day for me. I used this heat compress which worked miracles. It’s this thing that gets micro waved and then steams the aching part. I can type again! Goal today go from journal to journal and catch up on everyone ( Read more... )

I thought the wrapped the finale of Hemlock Grove up Nicely. I would have liked it to end on a more happy note, but, at least it had a definite ending.

How awful you have to fill out mountains of paperwork just to prove she still needs disability, sigh. But how awesome the counselor noticed how well you understood her homework, score! :-)

PR, I am disappointing but out of all 4 none of them really caught my fancy. E I liked a lot and I think he could have done better and won it if he just would not have gotten carried away.

I love the idea of plus sizes for the runway, but it just was not done very well, ick, I was reading kind of throw back, lace - Madonna and I have to agree.

Have a lovely weekend!

I second your thoughts about the PR finale. It was difficult to compare winner's and runner-up's clothes. I tried to imagine winner's clothes on runner-up's models, and vice-versa. I do think, as you said, the novelty of the winner's purpose factored into her win.

It was kind of like a debate in which each debater is asked a different question, and then the jury is asked to pick a winner. Maybe in the future, finale contestants should be asked to dress a number of different body types.

Runner-up's design was much more original and cooler, but I wish she had amped it up. I remember Disco clothes as being a lot sexier. Maybe if she used different materials, like polyurethane see-thru raincoat material. And added more color, instead of dull forest green, silver, brown palette she used.

I really like Kelly better on the end. I wish she would have won. Ashley's stuff, although a great idea on plus size fashion, just seamed to be some rehash of another era, she could have done so much more then she did.

O, are you going to watch PR Junior? I'm usually not interested in seeing children's competitions, as I don't feel they have developed enough as artists to merit attention. But some of the contestants seemed precocious, so I think I'll at least see the first episode next week.

I might check out PR junior by watching most of it at once, have you seen any of it yet?

I've FF through it a few times. The kids are precocious, but they simply aren't very good designers yet. It would be interesting to see them compete ten or so years from now.

I havent been able to see anything from AHS since series 2. I've heard that it has been getting progressively worse though, and that scares me!

Haha, it's mildly entertaining. I didn't like the circus story of AHS as much. It had possibilities, the it just didn't do it and went off in a different direction then expected.
