Today we are going to break the 4th wall. This post is more for other people then our self but it’s good to be upfront and level with people reading you so I am going to put this little note here for everyone to read so that they can see where we are coming from. (Yes, I talk to my Diary, lol)

I love the layered look. I remember years and years ago, getting sent home from work to change, because my clothes were too layered. I never really knew specifically about the Mori Kei style.
It is great to be friends with you here :-)

I think that is why I like Livejournal, because you can find that diversity here.

It's good to see this person is XXXY! She seems interesting. :)
I don't really meet many intersex people like myself that were born this way. I just thought I would get it out there, in case I said something ungodly weird and then had to explain myself! lol

We are who we are.
I've given up many years ago on the idea of fashion and dress to suit myself.
The older I get, the less concerned I am about pleasing others and fulfilling societal demands about who I ought to be. It's not freeing-- as you've noted in your entry-- to have to yield to the dictates of a narrow society when inside we are far more than that.
What a wonderful place this would be if more people felt able to be all of who we are more of the time!
Thank you for this. With much respect, froganon

I had a friend last week that admitted he likes to wear dresses and make-up when he feels he wont be judged, because he likes to feel pretty. I am glad that he feels good doing this, I just wish he didn't have to worry so much about what other people think of him.

It is a worry because of the threat of real physical violence.
I honor your friend for being true to himself and I honor you for honoring your friend.
[for any who don't know; the I.Q. stand for intersexed, and queer//or questioning. nowadays it is more popular to list the L first thus lgbtiq but I haven't gotten used to it yet].

A funny story, my husband and I looked so young when we had the son and he was about six, that when we were at a park late at night hanging with some friends over the summer this one older woman wanted to call the police, because she thought we were all runaways. lol
