Even though I am a traditionalist when it comes to Detective Conan (ShinRan, HeiKa, KaiKo), I do like a dose of the alternate for Shinichi: ConanAi. I think #16 conveys their relationship the best for me. I'm always a sucker for angst, Ai's one-sided love and how Conan gives her strength. Absolutely lovely job here! Kudos to you. <3

I used to really like ShinRan, but then I wasn't as interested in it one day. It's just going on too long, in a way. I do like Heiji/Kazuha, but I haven't really read the Kaitou Kid manga enough to get into Kaitou/Aoko, so. XD;; I guess it's just that I like Conan and Haibara's crazy dynamic or something, dunno. I don't usually get into alternate pairings, but lately, those are all the ones I like. D:

I can't see ConanAi as anything other than angst, really. I'm glad that one turned out well, and thank you! :D

Well, I loved all of them and I think you perfectly descrobe how a relationship with those two could be special if their feeling finish to evolves and become more ambigous they're already are in canon...^^

Hm, I forgot to mention my 1sentence challenge when posting Raindrops, so it's cool that you found it buried in here. Ooh, if anyone writes ConanAi in a lovey dovey fashion, that's just...wrong. It'd make the pairing lose what I like most about it, I'd say. Thank you very much. :D

Well yes, this pairing is sweet and fascinating because it's a bittersweet and (so-called)impossible love... If someone want wrote pseudo-romantic stuff with perfect happyness, he should wrote about Shinichi/Ran instead of Conan/Ai...
But most of the fic I've seen about one of my favorite pairing are IC and mature so I won't complain too much...But it's always a pain to see bad wriiten Conan/Ai fic even if there aren't too much hopeflully...-_-

Well, I'm far from a romantic, so Shinichi/Ran could only intrigue me for so long before it started to become the same old, same old. I think that at one point or another, anyone and any pair in the Detective Conan universe could get to that "perfect happiness", but at the point they're at now, Conan and Haibara...not so much. But yeah, I love their snarkiness and that's just something you don't find much of with other pairs.

I've actually had a pretty hard time finding good Conan/Ai fic. Then again, I actually might not like the most popular ones in the (small) selection available, so. ._. I'm incredibly picky and horrible like that.

Hm, I know. But at the same time, I think I'll keep most of my small one shots and 1sentence challenges in my journal. Dunno why, my brain just decided that makes sense. XD But I do have more Haibara fic coming up, so next time I'll try to remember to advertise this, too. I have another 1sentence batch coming up too, actually, so.

This is brilliant! I love it! ^^ I think you managed to convey a lot of different aspects of Conan and Ai's relationship in this collection of sentences. There's happy ones and sad ones and ambiguous ones. =)P I think one of the most interesting things about Conan and Ai is their dynamic with each other. There's trust and friendship, and hope, but also despair, and secrets and friendly snarkiness. XD My favourite is 16 because it conveys so much in so little words. I also really like 6 and 7, and 23, 33, and 48. 48 is so cute. XD

Great job on this! I will recommend it to the comm members. =D

I meant to post this along with that oneshot at the comm, but kind of forgot. But, a really massive Haibara-centric fic (five lives never lived) will come from me later this week once the beta's had at it, so I'll mention this in passing then.

Some of these, I swear, both of them were grinning at me evilly and going "haaa...you won't be able to write this one." But overall it took no time at all to write these, which amazed me. So I'm happy that they came out the way they did. XD
