From a totally external, admittedly limited perspective: you've been through this before and found your way to a seemingly happy existence. There's nothing wrong with beint Suzy Homemaker. There is something wrong with living an unhappy life. I think there's a lot of choice involved, but part of that is choosing to believe that choice is a factor!

That sounds more like depression than isolation. I understand that the situation is less than ideal but Jodes, there are still people in that town who would love to know you, to spend time laughing and learning with you, building a friendship that becomes a support system or even yet, a new type of family. I have been there too and it sucks. Do you have opportunities that you are avoiding because it is hard to make it work? Do the kids go to Mother's Day Out? Are there any opportunities to volunteer to help there? Anything that you can do to be in contact with other women is a chance to make a new friend ( ... )
