Oh, that's a good one. (I feel like this is just a whole lot of TMI, so, yeah, keep that in mind when you read this, lol.)

My thoughts: actually one of my favorites; I love biting people during sex and even during scenes -it's a way to assert my authority that is fun for everyone involved. It's an easy way to give a whole spectrum of pain to someone who likes it that way without having to go get any extra props. And a quick nip can usually remind people of who's in charge. I also like being bit, too, I have to admit -some pain is always a win in my book.

Who likes it: Pete, definitely; he likes the pain, of course, but he loves the possession behind it even more. He likes people able to tell at a glance that someone had him, that he belongs to someone (Patrick) and that they wanted to leave their mark on him.

I was one of those people that used to think that biting was weird. But once I tried it, I really liked it. Like, REALLY liked it. I really like having the inside of my arm, my neck, and the top of my shoulder bitten. The harder, the better, too.

Agreed on pretty much everything re knifeplay. It's a kink I also enjoy although don't indulge in often, but when I do and the mood is right... the power rush is incredible, though I also tend to come down hard from that so not something to be done with strangers.

This reminds me; I don't know if you've read it but there's a really good exploration of knife play in the unmarked_place by my esteemed co-author (and I jumped in a bit for the second fic), it's Bob/Mikey: Whetstone and continuation Double-Edged - think you would enjoy them.
