Ugh, I keep imagining parts of it -P'te got Searched when he was 17, his dad was a Lord Holder and his brother Andrew was happy when he left because that meant that Andrew would inherit- and the day he Impressed King, she knocked three girls and two boys out of the way to get to him and everyone started losing their shit once they realized what happened amd P'te and King were both pretty much indifferent to everyone else's crap and did their own thing; they ended up getting transferred to Benden Weyr when P'te was 20 -Fort Weyr already had two queens besides King and Benden only had the one.

They were there for about a year when P'trick and Vaughn transferred there; it was love at first sight for both of them and they immediately start plotting how to convince the two of them that they should be Weyrmates.....
