So, I made it to Cherrygrove City, despite the weather! I even caught a Sentret on the way. And someone was even nice enough to give me a Pokémon egg they'd captured at the contest in National Park since there was no way I'd've been able to make it there in time to participate. Some creatures take on an unassuming guise to catch their prey when its defenses are down.

...Though that doesn't seem to be the case for this one.

Yes. Its apparent toughness combined with its lack of attacking power made me curious enough to catch one. It seems like it's not disguising any hidden strengths, though.

Oh, so it does evolve into something powerful? Someone else I was talking to thought that might be the case. Having to survive for a while in a weak form so that only the strong or lucky ones make it to adulthood... That makes sense.
