2nd Rune [Video/Action for Cherrygrove City]
So, I made it to Cherrygrove City, despite the weather! I even caught a Sentret on the way. And someone was even nice enough to give me a Pokémon egg they'd captured at the contest in National Park since there was no way I'd've been able to make it there in time to participate. I can't wait to see what it'll hatch into!
Speaking of catching Pokémon, I ran into this one - [She turns the Pokégear's camera so that it's facing a Magikarp] - when I went wading in the lake for a bit. It took a while to wear it down enough to capture it, but now that I have it I can't seem to get it to do anything but splash water around harmlessly. Is that really all that these things can do? I thought for sure they had to be capable of doing something else. How do they survive in the wild if they can't defend themselves?
