Okay, so I nearly blew up my microwave just now. BECAUSE I AM THAT TALENTED.
I made French Dips for lunch yesterday, for my dad and I, and there was a lot of leftover au jus, which means French Dips for lunch today, too. So I get my sammiches made and heating in the oven, and spoon some of the au jus into a small container with a gold trim around

But my experiance with that: one of the dorms had a kitchen! With an oven! (But no stove.) And a microwave! So a friend and I cooked dinner for us. We had steaks. Wrapped them in aluminum foil to bake because we didn't have a pan. After they were done, we stuck them in the microwave to keep warm. Only it took a few more minutes to cook everything else. So I turned the microwave on-- with friend's knowledge-- and what did the aluminum foil start doing? :P So it's not just you-- and we *knew* we had metal in there.
