So, Tim had his colonoscopy this afternoon. He got lucky- his prep was very easy, no cramping, no vomiting. Just a few poops and done

Give the poor guy his cheeseburger and his beer!
He's been put through the wringer and deserves some pampering.
I've had a few polyps of my own show up from time to time but cancer was never found.
I'm due for another colonoscopy soon....not looking forward to it but gotta get it done.

They are good odds. Medically, it's said that fifty-fifty odds are worth fighting for, but a dear friend of mine was given odds of less than ten percent something like seven years ago (particularly aggressive and inoperable, it was said, form of cancer in the lung), fought, and has been cancer free for five years, now.
