So, Tim had his colonoscopy this afternoon. He got lucky- his prep was very easy, no cramping, no vomiting. Just a few poops and done.
The exam went well; he just fell asleep, dreamt for a while, and woke up, perfectly clear. But then the doc came in and said that there were a number of polyps, and they were definitely pre-cancerous. They have been harvested and sent to the path lab. He also took samples from some other 'things' and the bowel walls to see if he can find out why Tim poops so much.
He said the chance of the polyps being cancerous is less than 10%. WE won't know for probably two weeks. I really wasn't expected them to find anything.
Now he wants a cheeseburger and beer.
