Finally a day that wasn't just miserable cold; I don't know if it made it up to 32 F during the day but at least it wasn't horrible just breathing outside. For a couple of days it was below 10 F for the highs and around 0 F for the lows. And the wind was blowing, quite hard. Of course a pipe broke in the irrigation well house, because the warning

And where was all this snow when I was growing up in Mississippi? Most years we were lucky if we got a brief dusting of snow.

And here in Indiana this winter we only got about an inch of snow TWICE and it melted within a day both times.

And now the maple trees are blooming as well as my daffodils.

Ain't it funny how certain grammar and vocabulary tidbits can totally escape us even though we dearly love reading.

You're lucky to be finding movies that you actually want to watch. Netflix just hasn't had a thing on that I was interested in seeing since I finished watching Wednesday. (You know you're in trouble when you lose interest just watching the trailers.)

Hahahaha, I won't whine then because it was only 42 here. It's so funny to watch them panic down in LA. We get weather like that all the time up here and 'it's no big deal', according to them, but for them, it's Armageddon!
