She turned the key in the lock and pushed the door open. For a moment all she could think was, It smells like Jim, and she couldn't quite make herself go in.

He couldn't know quite how she felt, but he'd seen this reaction before at least, and knew that he couldn't push her.

It smelled like him, felt like him, and the memories... She could see him on the couch, sound asleep or laughing at something and - she made a very soft sound of distress and barely kept herself from fleeing right back out the door.
