Thus, juggling a rather hefty slab of chocolate cake and a glass of milk, the Doctor looked for a place to sit. Actually, since the enormous banquet hall was mostly empty, he was looking for someone to sit with.
"Hello there?" he said cheerily to the young lady at the table. "Just in for a snack and I do hate to sit alone. May I join you?"

"There is good on Earth, and in the universe. I see it everywhere I go, too many times to deny its existence. And you cannot deny it, either. You've seen it too, even in the midst of a terrible war. As long as there are people like Robyn, and like you, willing to fight for something they believe in, even if no one else will, no matter what... then there will always be good." He smiled at her. He took a step away from the table before pausing and turning back, as if he'd forgotten something. "Oh, yes! And Ellie..." Stepping up to the seated girl, he stooped to catch her in a tight, fierce hug. "Brave heart, Ellie," he whispered into her hair. "It's easier to find good when you're looking for it." Releasing the girl, he walked out of the banquet room, turning to wave as he left.

She resisted the urge to run from his arms, and once she relaxed herself she all but clung to the Doctor, a bigger smile on her face as she returned his wave. "I'll try to look then."
