Your price. Whatever its nature. Don't tell me there isn't one - you'd be overestimating yourself.

There is no other price.

And now, a dilemma.
When one creation would so openly - shall we say, almost desperately - ask that another be killed, then often the victim is the better of the two. And so. Humour me with an answer: in what would lie the gain of such a murder? The obedience of a lesser tool, you realize, and if through the sacrifice of a potentially more formidable one...
...tisk-tisk. Not very advantageous. Mere mathematics: 1 > 0 . A good whore, if a nullity.

Had I a choice, I would not have answered at all.
I do not know you or your goals, I cannot speak to your gain.
My gain lies on multiple levels, some base, some loftier. Vengeance, jealousy, curdled love as sour as old milk, hatred, love for one I would protect even at the cost of my soul, loyalty... Do I mean that? I do. How... surprising. ...even pique that I have failed in my utmost attempt to achieve it myself.
Now you know my price. I would say I do not care if you take it or not, but that would be a lie.
I do not expect you to take it, and I do not expect to be your whore.

However, I like you.
...there is no true death in this City. I would know, for I have sought it. Whatever kill so extricated would last you less than a smile. Consider alternatives. If not for present negotiations, then, certainly, for what little equilibirum you'll allow yourself.

Do you counsel me to consider alternative prices to whore myself to you or alternative methods of dealing with my wants?

Take it as you wish - I invoke the Law of the Riddle. You'll forgive me if it takes precious precedence over that of the Corn.

You know my price, and I know it is too dear.
It could, if desired, leave us in a position of something other than commerce.
But why would you want an opportunity to show me why I should like you?
