I received a package from National Bookstore. At first I thought it was a Christmas gift or a token because I interviewed the owner Mrs Socorro Ramos in my old show Proudly Filipina back in late 2007. She founded National Bookstore over 65 years ago. She told me amazing stories about how they started their business before the war. Humble beginnings

I keep picking up random books from the bookstores and they just end up as tall piles of unread books near my bed :p

When I was young I could stay up all night just finishing a novel. Now all I can finish are books that are mostly photos or short essays :P

i read while breastfeeding my baby, when my firstborn is watching TV, and before sleeping. mostly fiction. the best time for me is while im nursing coz it relaxes me =)
