It's good to have friends in National Book Store. They always keep me posted about their events, special offers and sales. I remember almost three years ago when I found the Domino book at National Bookstore same time it got released in the US, at a much lower price than other bookstores. I received a package from National Bookstore. At first I thought it was a Christmas gift or a token because I interviewed the owner Mrs Socorro Ramos in my old show Proudly Filipina back in late 2007. She founded National Bookstore over 65 years ago. She told me amazing stories about how they started their business before the war. Humble beginnings ( Read more... )

I love Serendra and Bonifacio High Street. It's about the open space and relatively fresh air in Bonifacio. But I'm dreading the summer.

Yesterday temperature hit 33C (that's 91.4F). OMG.

I squinted and pouted my way from the car to A Different Bookstore to meet my husband for a quick lunch.
