you dont need international roaming on MJ. when you are traveling you can take it with you anywhere in the world...just get another MJ for your house here in the philippines. the cath is you just need to leave your computer turned on at all times. i bring mine everywhere and i have one at the house here in manila. been using vonage for years now but for $20 a year for MJ compared to vonage's $25 a month, its really a no brainer. calls get disconnected sometimes but for the price, i dont think you would mind redialing once in a while. ok i sound like an agent for MJ! heheheheh

okay i was wondering why the calls were occassionally getting disconnected.

please explain, you mean if i'm travelling, say around Asia, i can still use MJ to call Philippines? or it'll only work if I call Canada/US.?

when you travel anywhere in the world, you can bring your MJ and just plug it in your laptop as long as you have internet connection. you can use the hotel phone (unplug it from the box and attach to your MJ) or you can use a mic (i use my bluetooth if there's no phone around) to speak and just dial thru your MJ dialpad. so in other words, wherever you are, you are bringing around your MJ with a US number, right? so if you also have a MJ at home in the philippines (which also has its own US number) then its just like calling the US or canada...im getting confused with what im saying, but basically, you dont have to call people who just LIVE in the US or canada....as long as its a US or canadian number that you are calling, wherever the MJ is, it will work...so you MUST get another MJ for your house in manila coz this will be the only way you can call for free...otherwise if you use your MJ to dial your manila PLDT home number...it will be charged as an international call....

you're my blessing,daphne.i talked to your friends already.i hope this will really fly because i really do need it and we actually spend more time talking to them about how wonderful it is to be a mom and to have a child..what more can i ask for?
