Eversince the iPad, I managed to reduce a bit of my clutter at home. Magazines were always my guilty pleasure ever since I was 16. I've kept all the issues of Vogue in my parent's basement in Canada. And whatever I bought in Manila are stacked in storage in our garage. Vogue costs P500 to P700 here. That's an average of $15 per issue. So I kept ( Read more... )

Yes, I like to think magazines will never die. I mean, they said the same about books. I love magazines, too. Grew up with Reader's Digest, Time, Cosmo, GH... I can't imagine a world without them! And I really hope mag-dilang anghel ka about the print is not dead part since that's my living! If magazines die, what will I do?!

Magazines should and will evolve to be more meaningful to a market that wants bits and pieces of information right NOW. It's interesting times!

Oh, and get na the Flipboard app for your iPad! We love it! It gathers all your feeds and subscriptions, Facebook updates, Tweets and presents them in magazine format!

Got Flipboard as soon as it came out. It's ok as nutshell thing. I only check it once a week though.

Hi Daphne, what is Zinio? Is it an app that allows your IPad to purchase all these magazines? My friend bought an Ipad recently and when she showed it to me she could only buy a few :( Not the ones she liked. I am thinking of buying an Ipad solely because like you buying magazines is my guilty pleasure. Hope you can advice. Thanks and have a great day. Tans
