i could have gone either way. but one of my favourite bloggers uses a d90 so i copied her. i know its not about the camera though...

Congrats! :) i loved my nikon dslr :) shifted to canon just recently! :) now i want a leica dlux 4 as well :)

yes i'm not getting rid of my dlux3. i love it so much. and the ricoh is just as sweet.

Wow! Congrats! I'm sure you'll have fun with your D90. I've had my Nikon D40 for almost a year now and I'm enjoying it to pcs. I don't have time to enroll in an actual photography class so I just learn through practice. Wish I had more time to practice though. Hehe.

Can't wait to see your test shots! =D

i think once you know the basics (which you already do) the rest you learn on your own.

Yay for new toy! I think the provided lens are VR na, easier to shoot moving subjects. :) And may bidyu! Weee! :)

what is VR?

my husband didn't buy a kit lens. he bought a separate lens.

and the video - i have a flip HD and a sony HD. so i doubt ill be using the video on this one. maybe as a back up.

VR is vibration reduction... very good for the NOT SO STEADY hands and subject... that is actually a kit lens, some stores sell them as a package and some separately.... if that was bought in HIDALGO you may have saved thousands of pesos than getting them from malls =)

oops it was part of the kit. i assumed it wasn't because of the separate packaging. it'll serve me well for what i plan to use it for.
