Fragrance

I got some press kits from Luxasia over the holidays - all about fragrances. It took me a while to write about it because I was just getting reacquainted with the world of fragrances. I remember my first real designer cologne was Calvin Klein's Obsession. We were in our early teens and my brother gave me a bottle as a gift for Christmas. I still ( Read more... )

I'm using burberry, carolina herrera, lacoste red and paco rabanne XS but it depends on the mood that I want to have on that day....

but my everyday eu de toilette is BLUE ENERGY which I bought from marks and Spencer... its awesome fresh woodsy smell keeps me up all day and gets the girls go gaga at clubs when I go out at night LOL... they usually ask me what it is but I dont really tell em =)

Well I think things are quite different for men huh?! =)

My current perfume is from A Different Company (only available in Adora, GB5). All I need is one fine spritz or two at most. Quite expensive, but so worth it.

But, my everyday scent these days is Philosophy's Amazing Grace. My husband loves it and so do other people. It makes me smell so nice, feminine and clean. Plus, it doesn't trigger my sinusitis attacks not does it make me nauseated.

What I like about Amazing Grace is people don't ask me what perfume I'm wearing, but tell me how good I smell.

My standby perfumes are:
Jean Patou 1000 - this was my (late) mom's and I use it very rarely.

Bulgari White Tea

Jessica McClintock - because my mom used it when she was alive

YSL, RL, Anais-Anais, M&S's Just Perfect, and so many others - I hardly use these anymore.

I own the Marc Jacobs Lola. It's alright, it has a bit of a light musky smell to it. And the bottle is real eye candy. I swear, sometimes I take more time looking at it than spraying myself with it.

One of my favorites is Lacoste Pink. Cool, sporty scents are more of my thing.

My mom did love fragrances. She had so many of them in her bathroom and dresser. She always smelled so lovely. When buying a fragrance, I usually try it on first and wait a few hours before I finally decide to get one. I do choose a scent that seems to do well with my natural body chemistry. I do love James Creed fragrances. Spring Flowers and Love in White are my all-time fave. I recently got Clive Christian No. 1 as a Christmas present and is by far my favorite scent. Btw, when I go to the gym I wear Origins Ginger Essence. :)
