And when there's nowhere else to run...

Things I Did This Weekend:

1. I finally finished A Game of Thrones. As in the first book. I am a terribly slow reader (mostly because I spend all my time on the internet talking about the things I'm reading instead of actually reading). I need to finish the second book before the new season starts. As luck would have it, the second book is about 400 ( Read more... )

baby we were born to run, sometimes i do things i don't have to do, i'd read books faster if i read less fic

WHOA, half-marathon? You're made of awesome. I shall call you Tinkerbell from now on. Just wait and see.

Btw, your puppy totally became Damon's puppy in my head. Be careful, I'm sure he loves to chew on things!

How did you like Game of Thrones?

Damon and I can happily share a puppy. And OH how did I forget to put this in the post? The puppy is teething like crazy, so he keeps chewing on me. We've been calling him a vampire puppy, which naturally led to me calling him Salvatore. I'm trying to teach him his actual name before I start creating a million nicknames for him, but the TVD monikers WILL happen.

I loved Game of Thrones, naturally. I found it a remarkably interesting read considering I already knew what was going to happen. But I'd really like to read this one before the new season starts so I can enjoy all the plot twists without being pre-warned, so I really need to get reading. STOP DISTRACTING ME, INTERNET.

Hello, Tinkerbell!

OMG HE IS BEYOND ADORABLE!!! The puppy, I mean. Can't you just call him Salvatore? He chews on things. It suits him.

Good luck with your reading! Is this a good moment to tell you that s2 will probably pick up some things from book 3? Which is freakishly long, so they probably wouldn't be able to fit it in one season?

I will absolutely call him Salvatore. Damon would love him. He can be an honorary member of Team Mystic Falls.

Yeah, I figured I would get spoiled somehow for book 3. Maybe it'll be an every-other thing. I was entirely spoiled for book 1, I'll hopefully get through book 2 before the show starts up again, and then book 3 will be ruined. I can handle it.

So what Peter Pan character should I be calling you? Wendy? Captain Hook? The crocodile?

TWO MONTHS. What am I going to do? Considering the last one took me 7 months (to be fair, my reading was tremendously interrupted by traveling and fandom flailing. The traveling has ceased. The flailing will not.).

YES THERE ARE PICTURES AND THEY ARE ADDED TO THE POST. There are many, many more, because this puppy is ridiculously cute. I am in love.

Golden Retrievers are the greatest! Best dogs ever, pretty much. Casper is an adorable name. FLAIL FLAIL FLAIL x 100000.

3. Thanks! ♥
