On the one hand - BLATANT homoerotic tension between Holmes and Watson? Fuck yes. Robert Downey Junior and Jude Law? Yes, please. Excellent costuming? Check check check! A NOT-FAT, NOT-BUMBLING, INTELLIGENT WATSON? HELL. YES.

I'm kind of crazy excited for that to come out. . .and I've never ever had a passing interest in Sherlock Holmes before, er, now. ::shrugs::

I too am conflicted. There is much hope, but then again it would be easy for this to be way overkill in the blockbuster style... guess we shall have to wait and see.
