Pics - New Bedroom Look

So as I was determined to do, I got my room all squared away (the bathroom stuff still needs to be unpacked, but that was not in the agenda for today!) - and I didn't even cheat and just shove things in random drawers or put the little things that seem to have no place into a massive catch all container. I did it right and everything found a proper ( Read more... )

Wow! Who needs to paint walls when you just cover 'em with posters, pictures, and magazine pages galore?

Very awesome... I'm in the process of making sense out of my room (been a LOOOOONG time coming), but the only Stargate shrine I have is the DVD collection on top of my desk hutch :D

Exactly! So the fact that my walls are this sickly yellow color really is not a problem - i will use EVERY available space to my advantage! XD

It's taken several years and several rearrangements to get the collection to where it is - and of course I always make room for my SG stuff, so things from my LOtR collection get hidden away, and before you know it my SW stuff will be gone too! XP

Every available space is free game if you ask me. And i've learned I am very lucky to have the mother I do b/c a lot of parents wouldn't allow such creative freedom in their kids' rooms!

Sikozu, for the most part, is pretty mellow, so it's rather easy to get a picture of her...she's the easiest to do the 'artsy' pictures with! XD

Love the new arrangement. I need to look more closely this afternoon when I'm not rushing now!

I'm just going to wait and see how many times you run into that desk rushing to get downstairs or to change the channel because the remote has mysteriously "thrown" itself across the room or gone "missing".

Of course you do, and you definitely need to look closer...I love the personal imput...

And YEAH, you know me WAAAAY too well - and HEY, the remote HATES me. You KNOW this! So any injuries I get with this new setup, it's all the evil remote's fault!
