Ok... I know I'm about a billion years late, but we just had ER finale on UK tv. My friend and I had an ER evening, and watched a little documentary thing called Previously on ER, with all the people chatting about it and clips and stuff. And then the finale. It was a good finale. You picked out the best bits to mention, though I have to say that Alex and the car made me well up too.

And yay for Carter! And he was taking Rachel under his wing and teaching her, like Mark did for him.
It's so sad that Kem can't stay with him or be with him or anything.

I thought it was a really apt finale for ER. You didn't need any massive trauma thing to happen to the team - it's kinda like things are carrying on as they always have done in the ER, even though there's no more show.
