First off, just wanted to say many thanks for all the hugs and kind comments in regards to Riley. Of course I'm not over it - no where close to accepting it, but I'm okay. I can't help myself! I'm a DVD-whore... I just love my movies. And just because I keep getting DVDs doesn't mean I'm actually watching them! I still have Suspicious River, though - it WILL be watched...soon, I hope!

Hey *hugs* I didn't get a chance to get on here the past day or too, so I missed that, but I found the post now. I'm sorry. I know how you feel. *misses Sam, who yes was a cat named after Carter* Love ya.

On a more positive note, I also missed that you were going to Chicago con? I've been twice, 06, and 07, though I only stayed the whole weekend the second time. The first year was only the one day when Michael was there, and it was great cause I got my kiss on the cheek from him, but he definately looked better in 07! Anyway, how many cons have you been to? Or is this your first one? Excuse me for not being caught up on that one, since I haven't known you long and all...

Thanks - yeah, this isn't the first cat we've lost that I loved more than comprehension. MY first cat, Gracie, passed away a year and a half ago and I just now begun to accept the fact that she's gone and no other cat will ever be her. Riley, though...that'll take a while.

Oh, yeah, I've mentioned it a handful of times over the past few months. I've been to two cons, including Chicago Con '08. I also went to New Jersey Con in '07, which was my first. Like you, I only went the Sunday to see Michael (and got lucky enough to see/meet Cliff Simon as well!). But after that wonderful experience, we decided we HAD to do the whole weekend (we being me and taraleesg1 - she's my forever SG-1 BFF, and BFF all around) in Chicago... and loved this past year so much that we decided to go back. So yep, been to a Con before, and I'm definitely hooked! XP

Yeah lol I love cons. I can't wait until we have enough money to go back. LOL, I met Cliff that first con I went to as well. He called me sweetheart and personalized his autograph for me even though I didn't ask him to. I guess he felt sorry for me I was kind of in dumb-struck dork mode...:P

Surprisingly, I am very fine when I'm there with the actors...it's AFTER that I kinda fangirl out...

And we had a fun experience with Cliff and Michael in NJ, then again with Michael (well, I kinda hogged all the awesome monments - bit of selfishness on my part) in Chicago... they really do make it so much fun that you want to go back!
