Her head thunked solidly against the console panel.
"I can't do this," she said, if only to herself. It wasn't anything she'd ever thought she'd say, ever, but she'd said it and it hung in the air.
After a moment, she pulled herself upright and looked around. The computers humming, the room mostly dark, it was a familiar site. Barbara had left her with an awesome set up to be sure.
But she'd have much preferred Barbara.
Breathing out with a huff, she looked at the monitor again and started typing. At first it was slow, careful, as she tried one script, then another. Then she went faster, got into the groove as surely as she ever had when fighting, when swinging. It helped to think of it like that, like she was still Robin, still Spoiler, still gliding over rooftops. She could do this. Barbara wouldn't have left this all to her, hadn't started training her, wouldn't have wasted the time on her if she couldn't.
So she would. For Barbara.
"Oracle?"
"Yeah, Bats?" and she didn't even try and cool the sass.
