Heh. My mom asks me obvious things all the time, but the other people in my family are worse. My Aunt Barbra has cornered the market on stupid. Once at a dinner after a family member's funeral, our waiter forgot to bring out a few ice creams and said, "Ooops. I'll be right back." She couldn't under stand what happened and got up and approached him and came back and said, "He said he miscounted... whatever THAT means!" I responded, "Well, it PROBABLY means he miscounted." Seriously, WTF?

It only gets worse as you get older. Trust me. My mother asks me so many obvious questions when we're together that I'm shocked she can manage to survive and do day-to-day things when I'm not there.
