Apparently, China is making its own version of Iljimae, to come out in November and starring Wallace Huo and Liu Shi Shi. In this version, Iljimae is a high official who loses it when his beloved wife is killed, and LSS is one of the super-fighter-rebels who joins him on his justice quest. The story of Infernal Lover, set in turn-of-century China and following a double-agent, may be a giant nervous breakdown waiting to happen (I am impressed the protagonist gets out of bed in the morning) but it is an insanely pretty nervous breakdown.
