Bednaya Nastya: Advice to fictional characters

Sep 17, 2007 22:43

First off, anyone who is interested, I found the entire DVD version downloadable on-line here.

I am rather annoyed. My Bednaya Nastya dvds are unofficial (it’s the only version available. I’d get the official one in about five minutes if it existed) and they leave seven episodes out. Which isn’t so bad, out of 127 but BUT BUT BUT. I just found out ( Read more... )

You think you have issues? I am contemplating downloading all of it despite not knowing a word of Russian, just so I watch attractive men angst in 19th century Russia.

But if you want obscure telly you should get into 'Ros na Run'; Irish language soap operas are where it's at. It's online and it's subtitled! The men are not so pretty, though.

There is no need for such drastic measures :) I can link you to the site which has downloadable clips in order, with interesting bits :)

I should be obsessing over/making more MVs for Ying Ye 3+1, but instead here I am, going through all your past posts for Bednaya Nastya at 4:00 in the morning, watching music video after music video, and every clip I can find. And all because of your funny Advice post... you're so cruel. I really shouldn't obsess over another series (my boyfriend thinks I'm crazy enough as it is) yet I'm finding this one really hard to resist. It has EVERYTHING I love in a drama, especially the beautiful angst that is Vladimir and Anna.

Though oddly enough... I'm also loving Alexander and Natalie. Even though I've only seen them together in several music videos, they have crazy chemistry. Even without the awesomeness of Vladimir and Anna, I'd be willing to watch this series for them alone.

If you do in fact start subbing this, I'd love to help out with timing if you ever need any help. Now, I must get back to youtube and continue obsessing over music videos... who needs sleep anyway? ;)

A/N do have crazy chemistry and are really good friends, which also helps.

And yeah, I do think I'll try to sub this, so help would be much appreciated :)

LOL! Does the downloadable version of BN have the Solome dance?
BTW, Robert Jordan of the "Wheel of Time" just died after having finished book 11 of who knows how many. I feel sad for the man and his family. One had a feeling that his series would never end, though. I personally stopped reading on book 5- too many characters, too complicated plot. I didn't expand that much energy even on my med school stuff as on trying to follow all plot twists.

DL version is someone uploading the DVDs, so I don't think so.

I am actually pretty amused because she sorta gyrates on the floor for two minutes and all I am thinking is 'it's Russia, you are going to catch a horrid cold wearing something so skimpy.'

It is very good :)

You can watch all the 'good' clips either at: http://www.serialnastya.com/index_eng.htm (at 'video'), they are broken down by ep, or at this youtube user for tons of V/A moments: http://www.youtube.com/profile_videos?p=r&user=neeve80&page=5
