Why Why Love makes me want to write those 'Dear [---]' letters in manner of advice columnists. Because they need it.

i think your right>>>>> some dramas need a dear abbie........... and reading your post put a smile on my face... and yes this is the first drama where mike he has decent hair, doesn't die and although a massive bratty jerk he isn't that he just needs to grow up a little.... and the dad pisses me off..... i mean was the second son a mistake????? is it like spare tire???? i don't know.... but his treatment kinda suck but then its somewhat justified when his son acts the way he does...

i agree jia die should jump him since he lacks the mobility he is easy pickings...

and this made me laugh.....

Oh wait, I do have a bit of advice. Don't fall for the oddball girl nursing your brother. You will only get your heart broken, and that will make me unhappy.

I remember watching DBY and thinking 'but I want to see him angst' and so I watched Love Contract and cried for hours.

I am sorta reluctant to check out 'Marry Me' for same reasons :P

I wonder if he started overcompensating towards his older one because he only brought him into the household when he was eight, and that got chibi!HD to act out to be noticed and it all went downhill from there.

i have to say that i have only seen eps 1 of marry me and that was funny with a sad note since mike he got dumped at the altar but whenever he thinks of his fiancee and how she looks its him in drag???? so i'm awaiting the rest of it....

I find JD/HD pretty cute together, but I totally want HY to end up super happy. I'll even be OK with other girl, if that is what he wants...

*has only very moderate interest in WWL, but thought Kingone and his OTP were the best part of DBY*

Still trying to decide whether to watch this.

On one hand, Taiwanese cuteness.

On the other hand, I didn't watch DBY and if I ever do, I somehow sincerely doubt I will love it. I mean, if the OTP went wrong for you, I can't think of a reason that would make it go right for me. A lot of people say this is very much like DBY.. I wonder if that's in a good way OR in the bad way.

They didn't go wrong as much as lost my interest.

There wasn't much drama in their relationship and they were both inherently OK but not fascinating individuals so eps and eps of niceness sort of lost me.

But I was OK with it, until his decision to ditch for a year. She was such a foldy rag at the time, and he just pronouced it and didn't even ask her to understand or anything. They tried to convey it with his 'I'll love you even if you don't' stuff but it just didn't work for me (I ranted about it at length, just click on my 'devil beside you' tag). I liked him well enough through most of it but after that I thought he was an utter jerk.

I liked the secondary OTP though.

That is hilarious. I especially agree with your advice to Jia Die - jump the guy. asap. He'll fold. And to her family - they are absolutely bonkers.

I loved the bit where she threw the bottle at the drunk guy, he caught it & then (after smashing drunkard senseless) swerves his face so close to hers.

And then they end up drunk & making out. It really is an "early-Domyoji thing" - so drawn & yet in denial over it. For now...

YESSSSSS. They have crazy chemistry.

And seriously, he is so in denial. Yeah, you randomly make out with a girl. And try to kiss her/invade her space all the time. And look like someone killed your puppy when you see her get into a car with your brother, in the rain.

I think it just might be love :P
