Yes, it's been confirmed. There are articles posted in d-addicts Maki thread (and I think on soompi as well). It's also listed as a 'verified' upcoming drama on daddicts wiki.

No really, my younger brother just came over and started hitting me to make me stop screaming. This is a dream come true, because it's Oguri Shun (WHO I AM IN LOVE WITH SO BAD AND NEED HIM TO BE IN A DRAMA WHERE HE IS ACTUALLY THE MAIN CHARACTER!) and Maki Horihita (who I totally have a girl crush on). I'm not even sure that life could get any better, because I think that all of my jdrama wishes just came true. Wow...I should probably calm down, but who needs calm when there's A HANA KIMI JDRAMA TO LOOK FORWARD TO! Erm...thanks for posting! (and I'd apologize about the flailing, but it's Oguri Shun, so I feel like it's at least partly called for X D)

There is no need to apologize for the flailing. I am flailing like a maniac myself and have been ever since I read this.

And OMG this is the best cast ever and Oguri Shun is the lead. Opposite Maki. In one of my fave stories.

This is kind of like christmas and my birthday combined. Actually it's almost a week after my birthday, so I'm considering it Oguri Shun's personal gift to me.

Yeah, it's a nice birthday present (mine is later in the week). Not as good as Oguri Shun giftwrapped at my door, but pretty good regardless :)
