Remember how I mentioned that Bollywood superstars Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai were sued for public indecency and lowering the dignity of women and what not for kissing in a movie? Said movie being Dhoom 2?

I've heard about the practice of tree marrying, and yes, it is very traditional, so I highly doubt that Ash and the Bachchans did it. But even still, if they did, it is just an astrological superstition, it has NOTHING to do with the caste system and untouchables. They are not even related! It's more about astrology than religion or whatever ( ... )

Oh, it's not cut. It's still on the DVD apparently. I really think all the 'omg they hate the kiss' things are just rumors. Come on, everyone knew it was going to be in the movie way before it was even filmed. Abhishek, your girl might be marrying you and loves you, but what sane woman would pass up a chance to smooch Hrithik?

I was just wondering, because in that movie Shabana's character gets married to a tree. I had gotten it for like three bucks on Nehaflix one time.

Heee. There are a number of BW movies with kisses already so this isn't too much of a novelty so the lawsuit is really odd (I don't think kissing is necessary in some bolly movies because they are written without it with all the stylistic choices).
