Just wait till you talk to nihongofrancais about Kimi wa Petto - she has some of the most articulate and well-thought out meta on this drama that I've ever seen and has pointed out so many important cultural nuances that I never would have gotten alone.

Yeah, I am sure I am missing tons of culturally relevant stuff.

It's interesting that I like this so much and so quickly. Usually it takes me a couple of eps to warm up to things and I prefer angsty romances. But this? Just is totally giddily fun.

Not as much as you might think. You've hit a lot of the main points from the first episode in terms of the role reversal and what not. Just watch more; it gets much more fun in seeing how the role reversal manifests. :)

And to say the least, yes, I am very happy that you've got the awesome!love!bug for Kimi wa Petto. ^_^

I was worried that watching this and Hanadan at the same time would be disorienting, but not at all. MatsuJun is so different as the imperious, very alpha Domyouji that the connection doesn’t even cross my mind Same here :)

Also, you have MatsuJun basically face down on your chest and you are totally wasting the opportunity :D LOL seriously!

I'm jealous of the cartwheels too. At least I'm not jealous of his manicure in this one. ^_^ Nice mete and I'm so glad you're enjoying it! :D

Well, he couldn't have a manicure. The nails would get chipped from cartwheels (OK, now I am imagining Domyouji doing cartwheels and my brain...I think it just broke).

Though they would have to modify the whole 'I am taller than you, boy-pet-acrobatic freak' thing. Because the girl would have to be on stilts to be taller than 6'1"+ JJH. :)

The thought of Domyouji doing cartwheels? ROFL. Punching people? Yes. Emoing silently? Yes. Yelling? Also yes. Grabbing Makino and smooching her? Definitely yes please. Cartwheels? *is boggled and giggling at the image*

Oh I heard that too! I was told about this by a friend and that this is why Joo Ji Hoon can't do GOONG 2 is because he's doing Kimi Wa Petto. WOW. :)

And I am also jealous of every JE boy's ability to do acrobatics (especially Kame, good GRIEF, that boy is flexible), because my cartwheeling abilities SUCK.

Have you seen Sunday's Utawara yet? The whole thing in the talk after the KAT-TUN perf about backflips was hilarious.
