A Love to Kill. With eye candy

Yeah, it continues to be excellent.

I was going to talk about the cool scene of Bokgu running to the hospital and almost collapsing, and then collasping for real in relief that his brother pulled through and just bawling (very unprettily which was great) at his brother's bedside. I was going to talk how nifty (dramatically) it was that in order to pay Mingu's hospital bills, Bokgu was going to work for gangsters even though he despises them because of his dreadful father (the scene where he has 'signed on' and he crumples the money and pulls on gloves and looks at himself in the mirror is excellent), or I was even going to squee about how ES overheard him agree so she tried to prevent him by faking being in trouble and he actually went to her.

But forget all that, because OMG! The scene at the end of ep 6! Where he is in the gang fight and he gets abandoned so the rival gang members are totally beating him horribly and ES shows up (because she followed him), running and he is borderline unconscious and she tries to shield him with her body, but the gangsters won't budge and they lift their baseball bats and so she is about to be hit and he rolls over and protects her with his body. EEEEEEEEEE! Yeah.

I find it quite symbolic that as he is being wheeled into the operating room, she takes off the amulet that Mingu gave her and wraps it around Bokgu's wrist.

But talk as I might about cinematography, or characters, or filters. Come on, ladies and gentlemen. It's me. Who am I fooling? Why not be honest and admit the other major reason for why this is a must see. Right?

Right.
