Encompassing pretty much every drama on my list...

1. Ep 6 of Can We Get Married continued the adorable streak, even though I had no caps as no moment particularly stood out. I have a feeling at the end of the drama, we will have two couples - aunt and the motorcycle guy and, of course, our main couple. It's clear the oldest sister and her husband are on the road of no return to the divorce court ( Read more... )

youtube5, i miss you, five fingers, can we get married, screencaps5, kim so hyun, nice guy, yeo jin gu, jeon woo chi, doramas5

The CG is Cdrama level OMG
K-dramas have a much higher budget so i expect more :\
Its probably gonna be the ratings winner though because both Great Seer and IMy aren't doing well in the ratings :o
Maybe IMY will be like Que Sera Sera in terms of impact

I think the prettiness of IMY definitely makes it more palatable
Melodramas with spades of misery and depression always come across as more pensive and melancholic than "feel the force go my tragic makjang wrath" when the cinematography is pretty.

I get the feeling the PD of JWC was dying to make Legend of Condor Heroes or Handsome Siblings. Circa 2002. Honestly, that is just plain bad. Plus, at least cdramas give me hot guys to look at.

I keep hoping IMY will take the rating lead but it's took dark for that, IMO. Melos are popular but only when they are a lot less grim (IMY makes Nice Guy seem like a frolicking romcom). I do agree that the cinematography (and the performances) anchor it and keep it from being a sibling to May Queen or similar.

I've been steeling myself for this episode. I might have to shelve this until winter break because I can't handle all the stress of upcoming finals and this. I still can't believe that a Kdrama went there. When people on Soompi were talking about this a possibility I never seriously considered this would happen. I wonder how the netizens are taking this ( ... )

Good luck with the finals!

No idea on the netizens in detail but apparently it created quite a shock.

I agree with you on Soo Yeon's reaction - I, as a viewer, don't blame him, but I am not Soo Yeon and who knows how she gets over it, if ever.

I've seen more messed up OTP than this (Byakuyakou) but never in a kdrama.

Thanks!

I can only imagine.

It would be nearly impossible. I don't see any way that she could. I'm really interested to see what kind of person she will be when she's older. One thing I loved about her was even though she was put through hell before, she was still able to open up to him. With this happening to her, I don't know if she'll be able to get though it.

OH yeah, I haven't seen it but I'm familiar with the storyline. Geez, let's hope it doesn't get that dark.

I am assuming she gets at least somewhat healed as I don't think YEH is supposed to be rocking in the corner her whole performance...

Jeon Woo Chi, looks horrible. The sets look like they are from a college play, the cinematography is old school (and not in a good way), the CGI is laughable, and a lot of the acting seems phoned in - it's all off. To top it off, our male lead looks awful! Not even a mane of glory could save him; actually he looks rather old in some scenes.

He does look much too old for her. Uee and Joo Won's dramas should have swapped leads.

Re-Jeong Woo Chi--> Nooooooo! Say it ain't so! I had so much hope for this. I have to leave for work in 5 minutes so I don't have the time to watch the extended trailer. I *hate* shoddily shot dramas that look like they were filmed in the 80s (or even the 90s).

It just looks cheap. I remember people saying that JWC would be the epic that Faith wasn't but, whatever one thought of Faith, it looks 100x more epic and expensive than JWC.

I can only hope that Jeon Woo Chi trailer makes more sense if you have clue what they're saying, because the first few minutes (all I watched, bedtime) looked like randomly selected clips that gave me no idea what it was except unfunny-looking physical Dude humor with random moments of wuxia that looked like they were from something else. (I also couldn't help but think Ji Chang Wook would be a better casting choice, but that might be because the impression I got was a less endearing Dong Soo).

I liked the movie a lot, though, so I'll check it out.

Yeah, the humor was stupid and the wuxia sequences poorly done. I do hope the final product is better...no way to go but up.
