I don't know how he married her, but divorce made sense to me. You got the sense even in the 1970s, In Ha was a very contained person, not easily emotionally engaged (except with Yoon Hee). In an odd way, it's similar to Jun, even if Jun's issues/shields are different.

I found ep 8 quite gorgeous as far as Jun/Hana are concerned. This is moving quite fast.

In my head!canon, Yoon Hee has only ever used yellow umbrellas since the day she met In Ha.

I laughed out loud when Jun said the whole "If you go with him and abandon me again, we're over" line. WHAT. It just shows how completely invested he is in his own mind that he would think of them in those terms when reality doesn't reflect that at all. I remain totally enchanted by how completely gone Jun is over Hana and how completely unprepared he is for dealing with that. He just does not know what to do with himself, and it is the most delightful thing ever. But you're absolutely right when you think about why that is, it becomes heartbreaking: his home life must have been terrible. I like that we're getting enough information to know how terrible said home life was, without resorting to flashbacks or heavy-handed dialogue. We can fill in the blanks ( ... )

The world in his head has no connection to reality as far as Hana is concerned. To her, they are just discussing a quick part-time job but for him...what? :)

HJ and IH must have had a horrible marriage - a man unwilling to engage and a needy unscrupulous woman are a horrible combination. I just bet she used Jun in her attempts to get IH in line. Fun times.

I agree, In Ha is partially to blame. But yes, I feel bad for her potential even if she grew into a horrible person.

I love this scene too. Normally, I will fast forward the parents' scene in a lot of drama but i need to watch this because i want to know what happen to In Ha and Yoon Hee. The last scene was really moving ( ... )

Ep 8 should satisfy your Jun/Hana craving. There were so many great scenes and the chemistry is out of the world.

I can understand how HJ ended up where she did. I wish she found someone else to love.

OMG! The older OTP is Lee Mi Sook and Jung Jin Young? Wowza! I may have to see this! I thought it was epic when Lee Mi Sook and Kim Kab Soo were paired for Cinderella's Unni, but this? The meeting of Titans.

Yes. I love seeing an older couple with meaty scenes on screen.
