I went with Wallace. . .because he looks like Wallace Huo. (I am shallow when it comes to period China fiction polls) I honestly feel sad that he's playing a crazy, OTP torturer - because, I'm so used to him being the awesome (yet emotionally wounded) good guy.

Have you seen the 15 minute subbed trailer? Because he isn't the evil kdrama secondary guy. He is a very conflicted and complicated character and, I think, is going to run away with the drama - and he really loves her to bits and risks his neck for her repeatedly and will do anything for her except be able to let her go. It's more of a tragic antihero bad guy then evil mustache-twirling villain. I mean, he's not a good person but he is hella magnetic and fascinating.

I believe Wallace actually did this drama as a favor to Ruby - it's the first drama she is producing.

No, I haven't watched the trailer. I don't want to get too excited, because I know it will probably be a while until I watch it.

So, he's a complicated and tragic anti-hero? And, he's Wallace Huo? Yes, he will run away with this drama. He's a magnetic actor, so I'm sure he'll run away with every scene he's in.

Yeah. He's not the cartoon evil villain, more of a messed-up complicated antagonist. He's going to own this drama. (And I say that as a rabid Yan Kuan fangirl. But Wallace is...well...Wallace).

I would definitely go with Wallace Huo- I love unpolitically correct heroes who are psychotically devoted to their heroines- I hope this drama has subs when it comes out.. I don't really watch much crdama, do many of them have heroes who are psychotically devoted to their heroines? Jealousy and possessiveness would be a plus! Thanks Mousie!

Yeah, but she doesn't love him back so it leaves him out of contention for me. MMV though.

Hmmmm, not that many dramas I can think of have those criteria. I think your best bet is Summer Desire with Barbie Hsu and Peter Ho. He's pretty much the most obsessed and posessive hero ever.
