Myung Wol ep 3 - beginning

Jul 22, 2011 07:40

If you think about it objectively, the concept of Myung Wol the Spy is super-creepy - a woman agent from a totalitarian country is given a mission to basically prostitute herself for the good of the Motherland, while observed by her colleagues to make sure she is doing it right and their goal is to lure an unsuspecting person into renouncing his ( Read more... )

Ah I LOVE this drama. It's so hilariously funny. Once you've locked away your brain that is :o) Because, as you say, the concept is super creepy and not even remotely funny ( ... )

I think you don't have to worry about her falling first - she may be falling fast but he is already a goner, even if he doesn't realize that. They have among the best chemistry I've seen, which helps me enjoy it tremendously ( ... )

Wow, 6%! I had no clue the ratings were so low. And the actors are kind of high profile as well. This must be hard for them. When a drama is doing badly in ratings, I always feel uncomfortable watching it as it airs. I can't help wondering how the actors feel about their drama tanking. If it's a drama that's already over, I don't have the same reaction. If I like it I'll just tell myself it's a pity the ratings weren't better. The last expericence I had with this was when watching Playful Kiss last year. The ratings were abysmal as well. I couldn'th elp wondering how the two leads were coping with it ( ... )

Oh dammit, you keep mentioning Capital Scandal which is of course among my favourite dramas, favourite TV shows, favourite everythings.

..so now I know I have to watch this and risk jumping into a currently airing drama even though I am worried it turns all crappy. :( No wait it's not Hong Sisters so should be fine! :P

I can't guarantee the writers will not start dropping acid later but now the drama is a total delight!

Haha I love Capital Scandal with their running joke about the Japanese general always setting up parties for his wife, and then it always turns into a place where someone is assassinated/attempted assassination. I really loved that twisted humor in the show.

Yeah I'm so happy to see hero falling hard while heroine is like "can I just kill him now?" hahaha

About Soredemo, Ikite Yuku. It is darkkk. Damn. Totally intriguing though. Forgot that when jdramas do dark they do it so intensely. Only watched the first ep but will watch the 2nd soon.

Yeah, if you think about it, CS' humor was darker than dark!

I love seeing KW so obsessed and I loved so hard when he keeps seeing her everywhere, which is a typical kdrama 'in love' thing, but then it turns out it's because she's everywhere in reality to make him think he's seeing her everywhere. LOL.
