Did Yu Zheng mix drugs into this thing?

I keep meaning to make a nice, long, cap-heavy post about the latest eps of JPLH, but like everything else drama-related I plan to do (finally checking out 49 Days, continuing with Crime Squad etc), I actually do not do it because to take the time to do it would interfere with me mainlining JPLH. It's getting a little unhealthy. I promise to tear ( Read more... )

Oh hoho, I did say Eight/QC will win you back almost immediately. :P I LOVED how she knew exactly how many days he's been gone - she was counting! She was also moping in the kitchen and so on. I almost wish he stayed away a little longer.

LOLOL at comment about Thirteen. He is a pretty irritating bastard, isn't he? That's why when he was injured in one of the later eps and QC actually goes and makes him medicine, I commented that I'd personally have given him poison. I'm afraid I don't have any good news for you regarding his character, either; your annoyance at him will only increase exponentially as you reach the episode 30s. :P Prepare for high-blood pressure!

I really wonder what Ning Xiang ever saw in him. Going from Eight to Thirteen is just incomprehensible. My shallow side quite fond of Thirteen, though. :D

They are just so sane and compatible, I love it. I really like that Eight isn't just a better person than Four, he's a better-adjusted person than Four. He's pretty much the only really well-adjusted (yet not idiotic) person QC has met so far. I wonder how come because yeah, his childhood sounds worse than Four's. I suppose he's a glass-half-full as opposed to half-empty person. Maybe it has to do with him being an extravert and Four an introvert? Though that could have been their different coping mechanisms, not an inherent characteristic. Hmmm ( ... )

I suppose it's the hard times that forces you to mature and reveal your true personality? Both Eight and Four has gone through this, and so had Crown Prince. The difference was that Eight and Four had to suffer from childhood; CP was spoilt at a young age and despite all he went through (i.e. having to be wary of everyone because they may be plotting against him, people judging his every movement) he was still the CP and used to being treated well. That and his personality's too weak to begin with ( ... )

So I suppose it's good Four and Eight had to go through stuff - at least it made them tough and savvy.

he found Princess Bing Yue, which probably helped a great deal in hammering in those moral principles of his

Her comment about him acting out to get attention as a kid really got to me because my 2-yr-old does exactly the same thing (since I am not a royal concubine too busy with stuff, she usually gets the attention asap and probably some hugs :P) But yes, once again, difference in their personality. If Eight was like Four, even when found Bing Yue, he'd still fixate on the fact that his mother didn't love him. It may be that Eight is a bigger optimist or just has a much bigger capacity for love (the latter is definitely true - if QC wanted to be with Four, he'd be heartbroken but he'd respect her choice. I can't see any scenario in which he'd be bartering with her for Four's life in exchange for sex).

LOL KOREA. All of a sudden I want to see a Chinese/Korean historical mash-up. Bichunmoo. Korean/Chinese coproduction and pretty ( ... )

I stopped watching this a while ago, deciding to marathon it when all the WITHS2 subs would be out, but you are really tempting me with the Eight/QC caps.
