What is your biggest drama disappointment?

You know how it goes - you get so excited about a particular cast of an upcoming drama only for the actors to pull out (Hong Gil Dong - though in this case I preferred the new cast). Or the drama episode order gets ridiculously cut screwing up the rhythm (wtf Strike Love!) or way extended so it drags like mad (Goong, though I still love the result ( Read more... )

JJH getting busted for drugs is my standing drama disappointment. I LOVED WATCHING HIS FACE ACTING.

Goong in its entirety, a certain plotpoint (enemies reincarnated as sister!) being all but totally ignored in Legend, the fact that Korea has yet to give in to my demands for a sageuk featuring Song Il Gook and Ha Ji Won as swordweilding spies.

If that sageuk happened, I just might explode.

Bad Love starring Kwon Sang Woo and Lee Yo Won. I was looking for some good angst but that drama was horrible. Utter garbage.

The Taiwanese version of Skip Beat! getting scrapped. I wasn't crazily invested in the drama, but I DO love Skip Beat! with a passion, and wanted to see a live action version of Kyoko.

Same with me. I was SO looking forward to Extravagant Challenge. It's not totally off the radar yet though, so there's still some hope, at least.

Did it get scrapped? Really? I don't care for SB but it would have made a cute drama.

Yes, the last I heard, Skip Beat! had been scrapped (or as good as): "On 2009-Jan-08, after management changes with the Japanese producers and problems with the script, Taiwanese producers were forced to postpone this drama indefinitely."

Skip Beat! is one of my all time favourite manga, so I was both excited and *terrified* to see it in drama form.

Kurosagi movie (since it's based on a drama, I'm counting it as a drama disappointment). What a waste that movie was. The plot sucked and they completely ignored a great UST relationship from the drama. And however much I like Yamapi, he just couldn't carry an entire movie on his shoulders. I was almost bored to tears during the first half hour of it :P.
