I love this so much. Honestly, although I still like K-Hanadan, this and My Queen have totally taken its place. And can I just say I loved the water rescue. She just CHARGED at full speed into that pool. I think what I like about her character is that even though she's so quiet and sometimes even shy of confrontation, she is not weak by any means. There this spirit about her that I was surprised Rainie Yang could pull off.

And the action figure he gave her? You know it's love when he encourages her nerdy hobbies.

I totally plan to start on My Queen.

The water rescue was awesome!

True.

ARGH I want to watch this so badly I might just resort to going to another place to watch it (I like staying true and faithful to jdramas, it sucks having to find a new place).

As i am still caught up in the angst fest that is New Shanghai Bund, and i'm only watching MVs and not the drama itself, To Get Her provides much needed respite! btw, i take back EVERYTHING i said about HXM not looking good in modern stuff, ok the 30's isnt eactly recent, but that's enough for me!

I love the play on their names... i dont know if the subs you have explain them, if not let me know! and snap about the hair-pulling from the miserly 1 hour we get every week! and the shot with the tears in her eyes makes me want to rescue her myself and bring her home and look after her, of course if Mars wants to follow, i wouldn't exactly say No! i just love her quiet belief and confidence in him, even when he probably is flagging a bit himself!

I just got the first ep of the new SB and cannot wait to watch. Just the credits made me flail. Mmmm...HXM can join my mob any day :P

Momo means silent, right? And Mars' real name means something like good-looking man or similar? LOL.

TGH is ridiculously adorable.

Just for you:

ooooooo... you are evil! i need more HXM in SB!!! there is something so very attractive about his eyebrows and the way he smokes! i confess to having a weakness for hot celluloid men who smoke. dont ask me why when i consider it a disgusting filthy habit in real-life! :) and, he's actually my age! lol!

MoMo's full name is chen mo mo which is a play on chen mo which means silence. mars' real name is zhuang jun nan. zhuang being a play on 'fake' or 'pretend' and jun nan meaning 'handsome male'.

I like the part when he was standing up and sort of physically sheltering her, almost unconsciously, during the confrontation with the loan sharks. Because you KNOW irl a guy like that would be all "oh sorry, I'm not really involved with this, see you later." But Jiro Wang played that scene really well.

Also, his poolside outfit was genius. I totally lol'd.

And it was REALLY CUTE that he got her the fake action figure, in so many ways.

That was quite lovely - ultimately I like my protagonists to be good guys (or gals) - I am not big on jerks with emo, the way a lot of dramas like to do.

Poolside outfit? LOLOL
