Veronica Mars: the Pilot

I have just rewatched the pilot episode of Veronica Mars and I am struck all over again by how this is the best pilot of any show I have seen: it introduces all the characters and sets up every single theme but also throws us in the middle of this intriguing world.

Ah, the memories~! I'm probably due for a rewatch - the dvds finally came out in Australia so I should buy them and do a marathon. To be honest I didn't even finish season three because the relationships all seemed to disintegrate and someone thought it would be good to give Logan a new personality. :/

And I didn't like Lilly either, but 'magnetic' is definitely the right word. *nods*

I never watched large chunks of S3 because it derailed so spectacularly. I remember I was pretty active in VM fandom at the time and the only good thing about it was the fandom craziness was fun to watch.

I never watched VM, but the good friend of mine who got me into Buffy told me to check out the first two seasons, so I guess I probably should. ;)

I never understood people who loved Lamb. Sure, he was an entertaining character but people who genuinely thought he was cool? *boggles*

Ahhh L/V I had almost forgotten how much I shipped you. There's just something about Logan that appealed to everything in me. That bad-boy, spoilt brat but more...

I shall have to go home and re-watch the pilot tonight.

I can totally see Logan as a Western Doumyouji :D
