The thing that bugged me most about the book was that neither of the main characters had a personality. So, if the movie managed to give at least ONE of them a personality, that's a huge step up.

Yeah, Edward is this awkward, emo,socially not adjusted guy so while I can't find him a dreamboat myself, he does have a distinct personality. But Bella? Still a total blank. And both of them are sooooo campy together.

I think Bella's blankness is why the books are so popular; you can inscribe your own personality over her easily and without thought. And then you're the one being stalked by Mr. Sparkles.

We laughed and laughed and laughed. So did the audience. Seriouly, he looked like a cheap gigolo in cut-rate glitter. It was delicious!

I wish I had people my age here to mock this with. Most of the people that I know that don't like this series are older than I am. D:

LOL, you mean people in your age bracket are more like this person (this was in a comment section to a negative movie review and made me laugh and laugh):

I read the book and I personally think that the book is amazing and that the movie is just as good. The movie lived up to my expectations and Robert Pattinson was gorgeous. But I think the that this book can be for males and females. The person who wrote this article obviously doesn't like it because the critic is probably like 60 years old and the movie is meant for like teenagers. so ya guy who wrote this article, stop trying to be all smart and scientific. tell it how it is playa. like " it is the diet coke of all vampire movies" puh-leeeze.

Don't feel bad! I know some ladies much older than me who still think this is awesome.

Was this written by two different people? 'Cause I'm confused. XD The first part sounds like it's by someone smart, and the last few sentences sounds like some normal teenager who is lazy. XD;;

But yes, they are. Only they're like, a lot worse. D:

No idea, it was one comment so I assume it was one person who got higher and higher on thoughts of Edward and thus lost coherency by the end!

Sparkly vampires = TOTAL WIN!!!!!

Plus the whole "drinking blood" thing is a pretty blatant metaphor for sex - which is way too grown up for Ms. Meyer's fan to handle.
